Dermalux LED
Overview
Dermalux LED is a treatment that has been developed through a phototherapy-based theory, that living cells are able to absorb light.

This in turn enables the energy that light produces to influence the development of regeneration and anti-ageing properties. Through a combination of three different wavelengths of light, collagen and elastin fibers are stimulated. This brings about effective rejuvenating effects as new cells are regenerated and pigmentation issues are improved. The results produce an appearance that is glowing and radiant.
There are many concerns that affect the skin as a person goes through adulthood, which are often caused by the change in biological structure as collagen and elastin depletes. These concerns can include:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Dull / dry skin
- Pigmentation issues
- Redness and inflammation
- Loose skin and
- Skin laxity
By undergoing Dermalux LED the skin can become revitalised and a smoother, more evenly toned appearance is able to shine. The treatment delivers a combination of red, blue and infrared light which triggers specific responses in the skin. Anti-ageing and rejuvenating properties are encouraged through the red light, which also improves blood flow and lymphatic drainage. Antibacterial properties are released through the blue light, which also works to reduce large pores and congestion in the skin. A combination of red and blue light can decrease skin inflammation and swelling, which helps to calm sensitive skin.
The skin absorbs the infrared light at a deeper level which works to increase collagen levels for a smoother and more volumized complexion. As the skin’s healing properties are heightened, the infrared light is also effective for use on stretch marks, burns and scars.
One treatment session will have noticeable results, however, a series of treatments (with regular maintenance procedures) will ensure the effects are enjoyed for a much longer term.
