By using seven different technologies, the procedure can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual, addressing a variety of common facial concerns. Designed for use on the face, neck and decolletage, hydrO2 facial can improve conditions such as: dry skin, fine lines, lax skin, dull skin and congested skin. These concerns are commonly experienced as a person ages when internal processes, combined with environmental and lifestyle contributors take their toll.
This exclusive 5* treatment is performed in stages, using a variety of handheld applicators:
3D hydropeel – cleanses and smoothes the skin using 3 AHA based solutions. Skin becomes hydrated and nourished whilst also improving inflammation. Congested skin benefits as a vacuum is used to remove impurities.
Exfoliation – active ingredients produce a foaming effect, releasing oxygen from red blood cells for true oxygenation.
Oxygenation – A combination of 25% oxygen and other ingredients delivered to the epidermis helps to increase blood flow, encourage cellular turnover and reduce congestion.
Hydration – Ultrasound technology is applied over a face mask to help infuse the ingredients into the skin. Thermal energy stimulates blood flow and activates cell metabolism, as well as increasing collagen through a micromassage technique.
Skin lifting – Electroporation technology enables effective absorption of specially selected products. Small muscle contractions are created through the handheld device, producing a lifted effect to the skin.
Skin tightening – Tripolar radiofrequency raises the skin’s temperature to around 40 degrees, stimulating collagen fibres and fibroblasts to produce new collagen for firmer, healthier skin.
Cryofacial – One device can both heat and cool the skin, dilating the pores to enable deep cleansing and the production of heat shock proteins. Firmness and elasticity of the skin is improved, enhanced by the cooling phase, which also helps to seal the skin.
A series of treatment sessions may use all the technologies, or a selection of the most appropriate ones may be chosen in order to personalise the procedure according to your conditions. The results produce complete skin rejuvenation for a brighter, tighter, more youthful look.
Am i a suitable candidate for Hydr02?
A suitable candidate is determined through a pre-treatment consultation that assesses conditions such as: dry skin, congested skin, fine lines, dull skin and skin laxity. The treatment may not be suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have inflamed skin at the area to be treated, have sensitive or irritable skin, are undergoing treatment for cancer or are allergic to any of the ingredients that are contained within the treatment.
How safe is Hydr02?
The hydrO2 facial is considered to be a very safe treatment when a trained professional is performing the procedure. The technologies used within the treatment have been rigorously researched in order to develop a procedure that is both safe and successful. In order to maintain the well-being of any patient, the doctors at PPP laser clinics will not recommend any patient for this treatment who fits with any of the contraindications (please see ‘Am I suitable for hydrO2?’)
Is Hydr02 painful?
This treatment is not a painful experience and many patients will often describe it as relaxing and therapeutic.
Are there any associated side effects or risks?
It is normal for the skin to look red and feel warm, immediately following the procedure. This effect will often have eased within a couple of hours and the benefits can then be enjoyed. In some rare cases a patient has experienced some post-treatment aching and mild discomfort. If you have any concerns you can call the clinic and speak with one of their highly trained professionals.
How much downtime can i expect?
This treatment has no downtime associated with it and patients are free to continue with their day as soon as they wish to do so. Results may be seen immediately as the skin looks and feels firmer and brighter. A series of treatment sessions may be recommended for optimal results, which will develop as the treatment progresses.
